About Me

My name is Bob Magyar. I am a freshman at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). I am most experienced with programming in Java and C#, though I also know other languages such as C/C++. I also have strong interests in non-computer topics relating to science and technology, such as mathematics, physics and chemistry. My résumé is available upon request.

I have a wide variety of hobbies in my free time. I geocache from time to time, and have about 450 finds. I also often visit my local makerspace, Workshop 88 when I’m not at school. I am a licensed ham radio operator.

I decided to make this web-page in order to provide information about myself in a more organized fashion than my previous website. I also plan on blogging on occasion about my personal projects. I used WordPress to make this website because I wanted an easy system to design a website that still gave me freedom over the content and design.
